The more interested in makeup I get, the more high-end purchases I tend to make, but that doesn't mean to say that I don't look out for a good beauty bargain when I'm out and about. Boots and Superdrug always have some hidden gems in the makeup department and I have picked up some great products. What's even better is that some of those products are under £5! So if you're on the hunt for some affordable products that are worth a try, take a look at this list.
*Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
I have mentioned the Collection concealer before in this post and I always recommend it to people. For such a cheap price, this product is amazing and I have used it for what feels like years. The texture and blendability is second to none and it never disappoints. I love this so much that I very often grab a few and stock up. Can't be running out of this one! Price is £3.99.

*Collection Eyes Uncovered Eyeshadow Palette
Now I will say that this isn't my absolute favourite eyeshadow palette of all time, but I have very happily used this product for work or when I'm having a rush makeup session and it does the job. The shadows are comfortable and fairly easy to blend which is all you need right? The shadows are well pigmented, not as much as say *Urban Decay's Naked palettes but you assume this from the get go. Collection offers this palette in a number of colour choices and for £3.99 it's well worth a look.
*Barry M Nail Polish
Who hasn't tried a Barry M nail polish?! I have used these for years and the colour options are just incredible. There's something for everyone and every occasion so have a look. Quality is great and although the polish does eventually chip, it will last a few days before reaching the chipping stage (depending on what you do and how many coats). I am loving the molten metals at the moment but the Quick Dry range is my favourite. £3.99 a bottle can't be turned down.
*Freedom Fixing Spray
I haven't used many Freedom products so far but I picked up the fixing spray a few months ago as I didn't want to use my trusty *Urban Decay All Nighter Spray for working days. I didn't really have high hopes for this spray but for £5 I'm pretty chuffed with it. Makeup stays in place and looks fresh for hours.

*Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
This may be a bit of cheeky cheat, but very often this incredible sponge is discounted to £5 or under. As I write this, the sponge is exactly £3.99 for the single. If you haven't grabbed one already.. where have you been?! This is quite possibly my number one most used beauty tool and blending foundation has never been so easy. Just make sure it's damp for best results.
