I swear it's impossible to go into Superdrug and not buy atleast one thing. This visit landed me with the *MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter (shade Pearlescent Sheen) and before I really start trying it out, I wanted to share my first impressions.
Packaging
I don't mind a bit of simple packaging and that is definitely applied to this product. You can clearly see the pan size which is pretty decent and I quite like the pattern on the actual product.
Colour
From first glances the formula looks to be a highly pigmented, white shimmer. When actually swatching the product however, it appears to have a blue sheen to it and I'm not sure how I feel about this. It does give a bit of a mermaid vibe though, so this may be a plus for a lot of people.
Pros and Cons
The biggest pro by far is that the price of the highlighter is £3 which I would say isn't a bad price. There were a fair few options regarding shades so there's one to suit everyone. My biggest annoyance is that when opening the highlighter, the product falls out of the pan.. completely. This ending up being a little messy and now I have to find a way of sticking it down. It happens though and I probably just picked up a "bad egg".
So I will be trying this out over the next few weeks and hopefully we click. Have you tried this highlighter before? I'd love to know your thoughts.
