As you may know already I have considered Walt Disney World home since I was a baby Mouseketeer and that hasn't changed. If you haven't been fortunate enough to visit yet and are thinking about it.. do! It's the most magical experience and brings the happiest memories. Although it's very difficult to narrow down my top 5 places to visit during a trip to WDW, I think I am happy with the list. So if your planning a trip, I hope this is helpful to you. I'm not mentioning specific rides or shows in this one but look out for future posts.
Cinderella Castle
It goes without saying that you should visit the most famous icon in WDW. Cinderella Castle is a hub of entertainment and a beautiful one at that. It stands majestically at the top of Mainstreet USA in the Magic Kingdom and is host to regular shows and of course fireworks. Although there's not a lot to do inside at first glance there is a restaurant inside called Cinderella's Royal Table. This is a dining experience where you can dine with princesses. It's a great experience and very popular so be sure to book well in advance if you fancy it. The Castle has many hidden gems if you take the time to look but at the very least, you of course need a Castle selfie.
Main Street Confectionery
As we are already talking about Magic Kingdom, I've got to mention one of the tastiest stores you will find. Main Street Confectionery sells all sorts of goodies and they smell, look and taste delicious! From pretzels and candy apples to the the famous Disney krispie treats... it's all so good. Even if you don't have much of a sweet tooth, go in and visit! It's great seeing how the treats are made and the smell alone is worth while.
The Garden Grill
One of my favourite restaurants at Walt Disney World is over in Epcot. The Garden Grill serves a tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner whilst revolving. Yes that's right.. revolving. The actual restaurant turns as you eat and it's awesome! Don't worry it's not fast, in fact you will only notice when you look at the new scenery. My favourite thing by far regardless of how good the food is, is meeting Chip and Dale. My favourite characters! They are also joined by Mickey Mouse and Pluto so it's the perfect time to grab some autographs.
The Grand Floridian
The most beautiful hotel and you have to see it to appreciate it. It's top of the range Disney luxury and a good look around the hotel grounds makes for a good park break. It's very dreamy and extremely Instagram worthy!
Basin
Such a girly choice and maybe a weird one to mention but if you love bath bombs and salts, this store is 100% a must. It's basically Lush meets Disney! It's on my list because I do enjoy a little shopping time and I could spend hours in here. They have the cutest soap bars!
So there's my list and it doesn't sum up the Magic of Disney in the slightest bit. There's so many more places you should visit including hotels, shows, shops and other park areas.
