Pretty In Pink : Product Reviews

Pink Products

I'm really guilty of picking up products not solely based on the contents, but also the packaging. I've noticed abit of a trend with the products I have been picking up lately or using more often at home. I'm clearly loving pink at the moment and here are a few of my buys.

Admittedly I am a bit of a dry shampoo addict, particularly with the Batiste brand. I usually have a couple of bottles stored away in Divine Dark but unexpectedly ran out and ended up picking up this gorgeous bottle. There's not a great difference, it still works a treat and even though I miss the brown tint from Divine Dark, I actually prefer the scent of this one. It has more of a floral smell which makes my hair feel even fresher and who could complain about that?

Another hair product that I have been using so much lately, that I have picked up another bottle before it runs out. This spray is ideal for giving hair a bit of a boast in texture. I use this a lot when I'm having a flat-hair day or if I have taken on the long process of curling my hair. Talking about freshness again, this has quite an unexpected but pleasant fruity smell.

I actually have quite a collection of Lottie London brushes, mainly because they are just so vibrant and pretty. I think Lottie brushes are quite underrated, they are fairly cheap and are really workable. I especially love the shadow brushes for blending. These brushes are the *Buff and Blend buffer brush (£8) and the *Perfectly Precise eyeshadow brush (£5).

*GOSH Natural Blush in Rose Whisper
I don't often pick up blushers and a lot of the blushers I do have are in quads. I grabbed this awhile back during a spontaneous look around Superdrug and I am really pleased. The shade is a very soft and subtle pink, which is great for everyday natural makeup looks. The size is also handy for travel whilst still having a good size pan for your brush to work into.

I have raved about this before in my "What's in my travel makeup bag?" post and still stand by it. This is my ultimate mascara to use everyday. It's loved by so many people and I'm honestly not surprised why. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend so you can see the impressive results for yourself.

BarryM are always rocking the nail products and Gelly Hi Shine is one of their popular ranges. Rose Hip is one of the lighter shades, so it's great for everyday and working hours without being too in your face. The shine element gives a great high-quality appearance and I will be picking up more shades soon, because there are so many options to choose from.

GOSH Liquid Matte lips in Candy Floss
We all know I mainly picked this up because its a liquid lippy. I haven't had a chance to try this out yet, but I'm excited to see the results. I haven't heard a lot about this particular product so I'm definitely intrigued. This shade does look beautiful, although I'm not 100% is will suit me.. but we will see. Here is swatch for a better idea.
