I have been loving Garnier skincare products lately and having recently picked up a couple more of their range, I couldn't not share my thoughts!

For what seems like forever now, I have been using the Micellar Cleansing Water from the Garnier Skin Active range. So many people have fallen in love with this product and I am definitely one of those who tried it out and never looked back. For those of you who don't know, this product is a water-based cleanser that is super gentle and lasts a lifetime (especially if you purchase the 700ml bottle.. thank you Garnier!). A small amount applied to some cotton pads really goes a long way and makeup budges really easily. I have sensitive skin and have never suffered from any irritation whilst using the cleanser and this quickly became my daily go-to skincare product. The formula has no fragrance, which I actually quite like because I think it feels less harsh and invasive on the skin. You can buy this products in sizes 125ml, 400ml and 700ml so you're covered for both travel and at home needs. Prices range from £1.99 to £7.99 depending on size.

On a very recent trip to Boots, I came across the Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash and having been such a fan of the cleansing water I was curious to see how this would compare. I really like the texture of the product, a lot more than I thought I would. I don't particularly enjoy gel formulas because I find the majority of them to be quite cakey and thick, but this gel is a perfect texture and I was pleasantly surprised. It's quite a silky and gentle gel, however it still tackles makeup perfectly. The gel foams up for an easy face coverage and in my opinion is easier to use due to the pump. I am so impressed with the gel wash that I have been alternating between this and the cleansing water. It's a win and a 200ml bottle costs around £3.99.

Don't get me wrong, yes you can use the above products for eye make-up removal, however I prefer to tackle the eye area with the Fresh Eye Make-up Remover. Another water-based product that is applied to a cotton pad, for such a gentle product it can really budge thicker make-up without catching any eyelashes (thank goodness). For a 125ml bottle (around £3.00) it does last really well and is perfect for travel.

I have been in desperate need of a new moisturiser especially in this heat lately. My face dries out really quickly and not many moisturisers seem to work on my skin. Thank goodness for picking this up on a whim, because it is possibly the best and most effective moisturiser I have tried to date. I use this every day and not only does my skin feel refreshed and silky, but my make-up also appreciates it when applying foundation etc. The bottle quotes that it is super-hydrating and I couldn't agree more. I wish I found this sooner! Cost is around £7.99 and it's so worth it.
