As you read this I shall be in a complete relaxed state of mind somewhere surrounded by trees no doubt (well I hope so anyway). Whilst packing I thought it would be a good idea to let you know what sort of beauty products I am taking with me and why. I would just say, I am very indecisive when it comes to make-up and I take a lot more than I really need, especially for a week.

Urban Decay's Naked 1, 2 and 3 Palettes (£39.50 each)
I love these palettes so much that I couldn't choose between them. I certainly do not need all three of them, but atleast I will have plenty of options. The *Naked palette and *Naked 2 palette both have a lot of beautiful neutral shades which I'm a real sucker for (both include matte and shimmer shades). The *Naked 3 palette is more of a rose-tinted set of neutrals. All are beautiful and easy to blend. Here are some of my favourite shades:

Naked:
Naked, Sidecar, Halfbaked and Smog

 Naked 2:

I honestly love this stuff! I use this pretty much everyday and it has lasted for what feels like forever. Eden is a really pretty light shade and gives a great vibrant finish. I will forever repurchase this product.

Considering I have lots of nude eyeshadow shades already, my only excuse for taking this small palette is that I have never really had a good use out of it. Over the last few days I have been determined to try and use it more. I don't find it as pigmented as the Urban Decay shadows, but I'm still going to stick with it and see how I feel at the end of the week. If I had to pick my favourite shades right now they would be:

Cozy Grey, Kitties and Don't Tell

I'm not going to go into much detail as I have talked about this before here, but I will say that this is one of my favourite foundations and gives great coverage.

This is one of those products that I picked up randomly without really having heard anything about it. I don't have many GOSH products so this was a little risky for me, however I am really pleased with it. It's not my absolute favourite but as primers go, I can't really complain. I love that it's a clear formula and it's extremely silky and easy to apply. I definitely dive in and out of using this, but I think it will be a handy primer for travel.

So, so many people have raved about this concealer. It's the most perfect light and blendable concealer and it's ridiculously cheap for how good it it. I wouldn't go anywhere without it.

Not quite as good as the Collection concealer, however it's still fairly cheap and is a good close second. My other concealer is running low so this is a really good back up.

Another one of my favourite foundations as mentioned here.

This has been my favourite mascara for so long! I have repurchased this probably around 4 times now and it's also waterproof so it's a must for my travels.

The ultimate backup mascara. If I didn't have Lash Sensational, this mascara would be my go-to all the time.

I have always liked the Zoeva blushes and having a quad is just perfect. I use the pink palette just as much as I do the coral palette so they are both in my bag. They are very pigmented and long lasting too.

As bronzers go this one isn't incredibly "pow in your face"  unless you really build it up, but that's something I actually quite like. Perfect for a more natural look and it does it's job.

I really want to love this product, but I'm still undecided. The stick itself is so easy to apply and really creamy, but the formula is almost too blendable.. is that a thing? I find this abit hit and miss, some days it's perfect and other days not so much depending on how my skin is feeling. I'm hoping I will get to grips with it over the next few days, but we shall see.

I can not praise these enough! They are so long lasting it's unreal and have the best non-drying matte finish. So cheap too! I only wish they had more shade options because only a couple right now suit me. I love the applicator too.. just the right size.

#TBT and Vibes

Lottie London Slay all day liquid lipstick

I can't really make a big thing about this particular lipstick as I have only used it once or twice before. I honestly forgot I had it so I'm excited to see how long lasting the formula is. It's a very soft shade compared to my other lipsticks so I'm interested to see how much wear I will get out of it.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipstick

I am super excited to try this one out. I really like the shade and I think this would be a good everyday colour. I hope it lives up to my expectations.

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid lipstick

I couldn't go anywhere without a NYX lippy and here's why.

NYX soft matte lip cream San paulo

If it wasn't obvious by now.. I love matte lipsticks and I'm really feeling pink shades right now. Why not take this one with me too? My only slight concern is that it can be really thick as you can see.

Maybelline vivid matte liquid lipstick

MAC will always be my trusty go-to quick lipsticks and these shades are my most used. I will also be taking 2 *Mac Pencils in Whirl and Stripdown (£13.00) because why not?

Merh, Brave and Whirl

MAC lipsticks

I have tried and chucked out so many brow products. It's such a relief that I came across Archery otherwise I would still be an eyebrow mess wherever I went.

This can only be described as a cheap and cheerful highlighter. It's subtle.. I mean really subtle, so it's not for everyone. For a chilled "minimal effort" day out, this will do the trick.

Embarrassingly I have only just noticed that this powder is in the shade Mint green and not Translucent. Thankfully I couldn't tell any difference and have been using this everyday for months. I feel like it gives an overall fresh but matte finish and I'm happy with it.

So that's it. A lot of unnecessary items there, but I just can't help myself. What do you take on your travels?
